The following mask and puppet images from Sri Lanka have been transferred from 35mm color transparencies to fine 100% rag watercolor papers and matted with archival rag board.Enhanced with pastels and colored pencils, they measure approximately 3"x 5". Images on this page are about 50% smaller than the originals. The puppets were photographed in a small Oriental museum in Paris in 1992, and represent gods and goddesses from the Sri Lankan/mainland India pantheon.
